Blessed Are Those Who Hunger and Thirst


The desire to live a life in pursuit of righteousness should be instinctive to the believer in Christ as it is to breathe air. If that is not the case, we must examine the condition of our heart. What is it that is holding us back from hungering for righteousness? Usually it is some kind of sin; mostly likely culprits are fear and selfish. We must submit these things to the Lord, otherwise we are starving to death spiritually.
