“Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” -1 Corinthians 10:14

We’ve all heard about how jealous our God is. It can be seen from the old up to the new testament that our God surely doesn’t want anything or anyone removing our attention from Him. With this, some people already see God as a controlling, attention-seeking, insecure god. They see Him as someone who demands attention because He has the power to do so. People have already misunderstood God’s word. People have already been blinded by a false image of our God.

As I was having my quiet time one early morning, God revealed something to me about idolatry. He reminded me the reason why I and all others should anchor our hope in Him.
