I haven’t yet figured out how to spend my free time. Literally.
When life is hectic, everything has a sense of routine and order to it. On the other hand, when it’s time to rest, I’m completely unprepared. I end up feeling like I’ve wasted my time, and before I know it, my break’s over.
Summer is upon us – the time of year when families take a restfrom work and school to enjoy each other’s company and make memories. How can we avoid the temptation to be lazy and apathetic after a year’s worth of hard work?
1. Dedicate a week to God
If you really want to rest, rest in His arms. You’ll soon find that spending time with God can be much more refreshing than sitting on your couch watching TV.
Come near to God and He will come near to you.
