Do you know the saying, “Show me your friends, and I’ll tell you who you are?” As a kid, that phrase used to bother me so much! I had some friends who I didn’t want to admit were bad influences on me. I wanted to pretend that their behaviors and characteristics didn’t affect me at all. But that wasn’t the truth! In retrospect, I’m positive that I would’ve never tried things like ditching school or smoking pot if it weren’t for my “friends” in high school.
