Like one who grabs a stray dog by the ears is someone who rushes into a quarrel not their own. Proverbs 26:17

Grabbing a dog, any dog, by the ears is not usually a good thing to do. Only an extremely well-trained dog will allow that to be done. Doing that to a wild stray dog, will most likely get a person bit very quickly. And that is understandable, because being grabbed by the ears is definitely annoying and can be painful. The dog is just protecting his own.

A lot of people like to do something that is just a dangerous as grabbing a stray dog by the ears. They like to jump into a quarrel that is not their own. People see a dispute between two others, and often will jump in to try to solve the issue, or defend one of the sides. This type of action…
