A New Heart From God

Wanting a Joyful Life

Every one of us desires a life that is full of hope and joy.  We want to experience love that goes beyond the physical and into the realm of the spiritual.  However, no matter how hard we try, we always fall short of this dream and are left feeling dejected.

A Hardened Heart

Why is it that we can’t reach our goal of having a joyful life?  The source of our inability to find hope lies within our hearts.  The moment we came into this world, we became infected by the disease of sin.  Sin infects our hearts, and gradually, it causes our hearts to grow hard and resistant to the love of God.  It compels us to seek satisfaction elsewhere, deceiving us into thinking that we don’t need the Almighty to be happy.

Needing a New Heart

Many of us have fallen for this lie that sin has given to us.  We know that God can only satisfy us, but we don’t know how to reach Him.  In this YouTube Video from our Call2Witness channel, I read from The NIV Once a Day Devotional for Men.  In this devotional, we will learn that in order for us to experience true joy, we must be given a new heart which only comes from God.

Words of Encouragement

Let the words of this devotional encourage you in your walk with Christ.  Below the video, will be images of books that talk further on this subject.  Also check out this music video called Here’s My Heart.
