 To be very honest, there are times I just don’t want to sit down, pray, meditate and write a devotion.  Usually it’s because I’m tired.  But, as I find myself resisting, I think about how Jesus didn’t want to go be tortured and then crucified on the cross.  Yet, without a single complaint, He set His face toward Jerusalem and what lay ahead for Him.  There are many things we don’t want or feel like doing that we know will bring us deeper in our relationship with God.  The question is, do we really love Him and want to be pleasing to Him?  If we do, we must make the choice to put our fleshly desires aside, breathe in spiritually…
