It is somewhat of a paradox, really, when Christ takes the lead in our life, there is an inevitable change in our attitudes, habits and behaviors. It simply cannot be helped. Often times, after the newness of the change wears off, we begin to think that our behavior is what makes the difference in our lives. That simply is not true. We are saved by grace–PERIOD! It is a gift from God, not of works–lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). Interestingly, though, as we follow and trust him; we begin to be transformed into his image. That transformation changes our view of the world, of our lives and of our mission.
