Omniscient is a wonderful word – one of three omni words used to describe our God.
We’ll look at the others later, but today I want to focus on “omniscient.” This is a compound word made up of a prefix meaning “all” and a verb meaning “to know”. So omniscient is “to know all” – everything. Past, present, future, nothing is hidden from God. He knows it all.
He can know it all because He is infinite. With Him there is no beginning and no end. There just IS.
