Getting out of the way of God’s Glory


Spotlights. They help us focus on what is important during performances, and they are usually put on the main characters in the production. But often times someone in the background tries to steal the focus despite this fact.

In our walk with Christ, we do the same thing. Exceptwe normally believe that we are the main character and that He should be in the background so that we can shine. Even if we don’t try to do this, we (as humans) always seem to end up taking center stage. And I’m not saying that I am little miss perfect either because I also find myself stealing God’s spotlight.
