I am…Chosen
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” Ephesians 1:3 NIV
We should all know that God is not a person who is bound by time and space, but sits outside of time as He did when He created time long ago. There is nothing like understanding that God decided before creating this planet that he would chose me. He could have selected any and all in this world, but he specifically decided that it would be in His will to select you and I, if you too are in Christ Jesus.
What that helps me remember, despite what the enemy sneakily tries to convince me of, is that I am indeed special and so are you. I am not special, because I have certain talents or gifts. I am not even special because I decided to follow Jesus.
