Moments are powerful. At any given moment we are full of emotions, our mind consumed with events, people, concerns, fights, worry, conflict, pain. In the heat of these moments, we often make decisions that satisfy our emotions. Turns out they’re not always the best decisions. Though they feel good for a moment, many times they don’t help our situation. In fact, they can sometimes prolong conflict.
Maturing is learning that life is more than this moment. The choices we make NOW actually affect far beyond what we think. Every decision we make has a consequence in tomorrow. Often we think one small choice won’t affect that much, but those same small choices made over and over again are what determine who we are, our character and who we will become.
