When the Future Seems Uncertain

I’ve always been a planner. I always like knowing what the future holds and being in charge of it. I may not know what I’m going to eat for breakfast the next morning, but I’ve always had a pretty good idea on what I would do with my future: where I would live, or what job I would have.

College is stressful, there’s no doubt about it. You’re in a new place with new people, and on top of all the homework and the extracurricular activities, half the time we don’t know what the heck we’re doing with our lives. There are so many what-ifs about the future. What if I choose the wrong major? What if I don’t get an internship next summer? What if I don’t get a job I want? What if I don’t live up to my potential? The list goes on and on.
