The stone of the Lord was rejected by man,
Forsaken was the rock of the Almighty.
Yet God use it as His cornerstone,
A foundation for His house, was the stone made.
Upon this rock were placed many others,
Stone upon stone was laid on the cornerstone.
Upon this was the House of God built,
On this solid foundation was His kingdom raised.
The Lord sees this House and is pleased,
“This is very good,” declares God Almighty.
For it is built upon the sacrifice of His Beloved Son,
By the blood of Christ, does the Kingdom stand.
Let all who hear, accept the gift of Christ’s salvation,
Receive God’s grace in Jesus, all those who listen.
For those who do will enter the Holy House and live,
Life is found within the walls of the Divine Kingdom.
Nice piece! “All other ground is shifting sand” as the old hymn says.
