2 Peter 3:10-11 (KJV)
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
In writing terms, these verses are what is called perspective. A sharp look here helps each one of us to seek God’ will, seek eternal values that will be heat proof for eternity. Sure, we still need to work and plan, but with God in mind first. In this manner, even though our material possessions will one day be gone, what we do for Christ will last.

Thanks, Bruce. I appreciate the ‘share’. In about a week, I’ll have anew Christmas book out, which will look to a child as a Santa story, but inside is a great conversational ‘how to’ accept Christ.
