In the last few entries, we discussed the superiority of the new covenant to the old. Today we begin the topic of faith in God and the example provided by the patriarchs before the time of Christ. Be careful as you read this because it may make you question yourself again. The key verse from this chapter, which is a verse, I believe we should all keep in mind when we start to question our faith is:
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen.
