Daily Thankful

So a friend of mine lost his job about a month ago. I remember feeling distressed for him, because he has a young child at home and is also married. I knew that he was feeling the burden to provide for his family, and wasn’t quite sure what to do next.

Thankfully, he had a game plan in place, and had several options available to him within a week having lost his job. However, we lost touch for bit, and I wasn’t sure how his situation had resolved itself. I had, however, committed to pray for him; he is not a particularly spiritual person (and certainly would never claim to be Christian), but I figured that the occasional prayer offered up on his behalf wouldn’t hurt anything.
