Set Free from Sin

Before my Christ I was a prisoner to transgression, I became a slave to rebellion the moment I was born. My heart was full of the stench of sin, The foul odor of iniquity overwhelmed my soul. I despised who I was and wanted out, I wished to flee the darkness I was in. Then … Continue reading Set Free from Sin

Be Something Different

The follower of Jesus Christ is called to be different. When the world says that we ought to be upset when things do not go our way, the believer must exercise peace in the face of difficulty. As the world tells us that we want to be angry and rage on when someone or something … Continue reading Be Something Different

Jesus’ Model of Service

A Prayer for When We Fall

Lord, I come to you with a heavy heart, My soul is grieved as I enter your presence. For I have stumbled on Your my King, On my life journey I have fallen into mud. I am caked by the mire of sin, My very being is stained by my falling. I come before my … Continue reading A Prayer for When We Fall

Promise of New Life

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (King James Version) The moment we accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, we were given a promise.  No longer will our lives be dictated by the ways of … Continue reading Promise of New Life

Your Word for This Day: “Victory IN the Blood”

Before Jesus came into the world, we were separated from God and that gap was called sin. This chasm was so immense that nothing made by man can cross it. It was something that only God can breach.
When Christ came into the world, God was shooting a life line to humanity. The death of Jesus on the cross closed the gap between God and mankind, reuniting humanity to the love of God. All that is required from us to experience God’s love is to accept the gift of salvation offered by the blood of Christ.
The blood of Christ covers up all our shame from sin. Let us embrace Jesus blood covering and move forward in our walk with God knowing that we are redeemed. It is very comforting to know that our debt to God is paid and I am extremely grateful to Christ for paying it all. I will therefore do as He commands out of appreciation for what He has done for me.

“…and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world. All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.” Revelation 1:5

2011-05-18-heart-washed-clean

Our victory is in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Our sins are washed away or removed from our accounts because of the blood.

Without the blood, there is no forgiveness of our sin.  Are your sins forgiven because of the blood?  Do you accept that forgiveness on a daily basis or does the enemy cause you to live in regret and condemnation because of your past behaviour or actions?

My friends, the blood was shed for you and I to walk in total freedom.  Jesus paid it all on the cross when His…

Living in God’s Light

Our relationship with light is a love and hate one. We love it because it shows us the beauty of God's creation. We hate it also because it forces us to acknowledge the stains caused by our sins. Nevertheless, it is important for us to walk in the Light of Christ. In John 3:18-21, the apostle reveals the importance of being in His light and the consequences of remaining in darkness.
