Have you ever had those moments that you found the work that you did a bit tedious? Why is it that all of us have a tendency to live according to a routine? In Ecclesiastes 3, the preacher teachers us the answer to this question. Let us discover the purpose of our schedule and how to take joy in it again.
When there is few, He makes plenty,
God produces abundance from nothing.
When I am in want, He meets my need,
The Almighty provides where I am lacking.
When I see a morsel, He sees a feast,
God sees the positive while I see negative.
The King of Kings is the giver of all good,
Nothing evil comes from the Lord of Lords.
So I will pray for His provision,
Unto my Heavenly Father, I make my plea,
He will hear my call and answer,
My petition will be fulfilled by God.
For His glory He does all things,
For grace, He shows His might power.
「A man came from Baal-Shalishah and brought food to the man of God: firstfruits and twenty loaves of barley bread, with ripe grain in his sack. He said, “Give it to the people and let them eat.” Then his servant said, “How can I set this before a hundred men?” He said, “Give it to the people and let them eat, for thus Yahweh says, ‘They shall eat and have some left over.’” So he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of Yahweh.」2 Kings 4:42-44 LEB
