Common knowledge will not reveal your Way,
Your will is not found through human understanding.
For the Way of the Lord is beyond human logic,
Worldly wisdom does not understand the Almighty.
So how can I discover the will of the Holy King,
How can one know the way of The Mighty God?
It all begins with believing in the Lord,
Faith in the Almighty opens the door to Him.
To understand that He is God begins my journey,
My first step is to recognize that He is Lord of all.
To trust that He has a plan for me opens my eyes,
My sight is clear when I believe that He has a calling for me.
So I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and soul,
With all my strength and devotion I will have faith in God.
I will proclaim to all ladies and gentlemen,
To the men and women of this world I confess.
This world has broken my heart,
My soul has been ripped asunder.
Nothing on this earth can mend my heart,
My soul, no man can put back together.
Only the One who made my heart can restore,
The One who can repair is the One who gave.
Who is it who can fix that the world can’t,
Who can restore what I can’t bring back?
Only the Lord can heal the broken hearted,
My torn soul, my God can make whole.
So I will seek the Almighty in my brokenness,
In my pain, I will come before my King.
And my Redeemer will place new life in me,
New hope will my Messiah put into my heart.
I will now sing joy to my God,
Forever will I give thanks to my Lord.
This I share to all men and women of the world,
Dear ladies and gentlemen, I testify this to you.
That God can fix all things,
Nothing is impossible for the Lord.
To be in Christ is the only thing that really matters. Before we knew Him, we were spiritually empty, trying to fill the void with material things; but they could never satisfy. What our soul needed was spiritual food which is found only in Jesus.
All the blessings and gifts that we receive for God reminds us just how wonderful it is to be with the Lord. Even if I received nothing from God, being with Him alone is enough to give me joy. The more I am in commune with the Almighty, the fuller my soul becomes.
Yet there something wonderful to consider. While we are made full spiritually, we are never completely satisfied. That means I must spend my days communing with the Almighty lest my soul starves. Personally, I see nothing wrong with that.
23 Yet I am always with You;
You hold me by my right hand.
24You guide me with Your counsel,
and afterward You will take me into glory.
25Whom have I in heaven but You?
And earth has nothing I desire besides You.
26My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
27Those who are far from You will perish;
You destroy all who are unfaithful to You.
28But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all Your deeds.
On yesterday, we were encouraged by this Psalm as we beheld the great keeping power of our God in verses 23 and 24.
In verse 25, Aspah declares what I pray is every believer’s declaration: “Whom have I…
